Magnolia-licious DT Tricks-n-Treats Blog Hop

Hi ...Here is my entry to the Magnolia-licious DT Blog Hop check it out here.
This was so much fun and the Design Team had some very cute sets for us to draw inspiration from.
I selected the Batty Boo Basket for my treat container you can find the directions here
and I decided not to put a handle on mine.
On my card the haunted house is a cuttle bug folder that I embossed on some Core'dinations card stock and then sanded it. I used stickles in one window and on the moon. I also used Stickles on Tilda's dress and Pumpkin. I also used several of the little goodies that Diana sends along with your Magnolia orders. If by some strange reason you have not ordered from Diana check out her site here. Diana has the best customer service and also has discounts for Magnolia-licious members.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I would love to here what you think of my set.
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Nancy

Magnolia-licious August DT Sketch

Hi Everyone,

Where oh where has this month gone? My grandson Dakota started back to school last week and my granddaughter Blaize starts back Monday. The summer sure did fly by. Anyway I final got my card for the August DT Sketch finished here is the link to the web site.

The sketch this month is by Becca Feeken if you have not visited Becca's blog you are really missing out she is a very talented lady and has some wonderful tutorials on her blog. I followed one of Becca's tutorials to make the folded flower on top of my small circles. They are so easy to make and they can make a fabulous bow for a gift if you make them bigger. Here is a link to Becca's tutorial for these flowers: http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/spellbinder-ruffled-flower-tutorial/.

The design paper that I used was Basic Grey: Urban Prairie

I ordered my Tilda from Sweden but since I did that I found out that we can request a Tilda if Diana does not have her and Diana will do her best to get it for us so from now on that is what I will do. Diana has a large inventory of Tilda's and fabulous customer service. So buy your Tilda's here .

I used Stickles on Tilda's wings, hair bows and strawberry. On Tilda's crown, shoes and centers of my flowers I brushed on Shimmerz Blingz Gold Glimmer.

I made the center of my flowers with my new I-top tool it seemed to work very well.

Thank you so much for stopping by and looking at my card. Oh that reminds me I tried to follow Claudia Rosa tutorial on how to edit your pictures. If you missed Claudia's tutorial you can find it here. I hoping that my pictures will look a little better.

I would love to here what you think of my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I really appreciate all of you!

Hugs,

Nancy

Tilda with Baby

Hi,
I hope that everyone is having a great weekend. My daughter asked me to make a baby card for one of her best friends that is expecting a baby girl in November. I just finished it this morning so my daughter (Amy) has not seen it yet. Can't wait to show it to her and I hope that she likes it or I will be back to the drawing board. LOL I'm pretty sure she will like it.
Any way to the details:
My Tilda can be purchased fron Diana at Magnolia-licious. I colored Tilda and baby with my Copic markers and I did not take a picture of them this time sorry. My paper is from K & Company Itsy Bitsy, Stampin Up Lovely Lilac. The word stamps are from a set from Cloud 9 Designs called Simple Thoughts-Baby I purchased these at Michaels. I used Stickles on Tilda's wings and headband. The purple flowers are also from Michaels wedding section. I think the little pink bows on the inside came from Michaels as well not 100% sure on that. The binkie on the inside came from Hancock fabrics. I think that is all the details.

Please if you have time I would love to know what you think of my card.

I would also like to thank everyone that does take the time to leave a message you are all awesome!
Have a good day.
Hugs,
Nancy

Tilda Loves Purple

Hello again,
This is the 3rd card that my friend asked me to make for her. This little Tilda will be going to her daughter for her 30th birthday. My requirements were it had to be purple and she wanted there to be glitter. So I have been saving this Basic Grey wisteria paper collection (Love It) and knew this would be the perfect paper. I also had some light purple glitter paper that goes well with the other purple so that covered my glitter requirement. Most of the glitter paper is on the inside of the card. I also did a little sewing on this card. I used flower soft on the flowers to give them some dimension.
If you have time to leave a comment I would love to hear what you think. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great week.
Hugs,
Nancy
