Magnolia-licious Birthday Bash Week 1 Challenge

Hello and welcome back. We have a very fun challenge going on over at the Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group's 2nd Birthday Bash Blog here. The challenge is to make an explosion box. What fun this was to make it really was not hard and I had so much fun. I have been trying to think of something that I could make for my granddaughter Blaize to give to her 2nd grade teacher since this school year is almost over. I thought that this explosion box would make a perfect little gift so this is what I came up with I hope that you like it and I would love to read what you think about it.

Here is a close up of the inside.

My Tilda's were purchased from Diana at her Magnolia-licious Web store here. Diana has the best customer service and she takes very good care of the members of this wonderful Magnolia-licious Yahoo group. We have the best design team and wonderful moderators that keep this group moving and so much fun if you do not belong what are you waiting for you're going to love it!
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Sympathy Card Tilda Inside

Hi and welcome back.

My sister in law lost her beloved mother this week so I wanted to make a very special card for her. Harriet was a big part of our family she always came with Nancy and Kevin to all of our family get togethers until her health started to fail. We will miss Harriet.
This is what I came up with.

I had a small pearl in the center of the cross and did not realize it had fallen off when my husband took the pictures. I did get it put back on but to late for the picture. Here is a look at the inside of the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and your kind comments.
Hugs,
Nancy

Daughter's Mother's Day Card

Welcome,
I made this card for my daughter for Mother's Day. I really struggled with this layout and I am still really not very happy with it. I was trying to get this card done to enter in a color challenge that was to use red, yellow and green. Well I did not get the card finished in time to enter in that challenge and the sketch is by Becca over at the Magnolia-licious Highlite blog. I used one of my new Tilda's from the fairytale collection and you can purchase here from Diana here.
Thanks for stopping by and I would love to read what you think of my card!

Easter Basket for Blaize

Hi Everyone,
I can't believe it but I finished Blaize's Easter basket. Wow this took me some major time but I think it was worth it. I have  several pictures to show you. I hope you like it. I am happy with it but I wish I would have made the handle not so wide but it is to late so it will just have to do. If you would like to make this basket you can find a tutorial over at Becca Feeken's blog here. Becca does amazing work and is very creative!
I have used Tilda with eggs in her apron and Edwin bunny which you can order from Diana's web store Magnolia-licious here. I also used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch and my Nellie Snellen flower punches.
I would love to read what you think of my basket and thank you so much for stopping by.

Here is a close up of the ribbon weaving that is on all four sides.

Hanglar Stanglar Stamp

I was so lucky to receive a few of these adorable stamps that are not available to us in the United States from a new friend in another country for exchange for some stamped images of Tilda and Edwin. I am so happy and this is the first that I selected to color.
I made my pink flowers using coffe filters and distressed inks. I love to look at Sherry Cheevers blog and she has a video showing how to make these awesome flowers here. I used tattered rose, worn lipstick and fired brick inks. Check out Sherry's blog she makes some really cool stuff!
I would love to know what you think of my card.

Grandkids Valentines

I made Valentines for all 3 of my Grand children but I did not have time to get a picture of Dakota's. My son was on his way over so I wanted to send it with him when he stopped by. But I did get a picture taken of Blaize and Izzic's cards. As you will see I kept them simple and did not add to many details.
I would love to know what you think of them.
Thanks so much.

My Daughter's Birthday Card

Hi Everyone and welcome back! I made this card for my daughter Amy her birthday is today and she loves purple. I love her so much she is the best daughter a mother could ask for. My granddaughter Blaize who is Amy's daughter she helped me with the inside of the card. Blaize (age 8) is my little crafting buddy we have so much fun together!
Take a look and let me know what you think. I would also like to thank all of you that take the time to leave a comment. You are all the greatest! Thank you!
Okay on to the card:

Tilda is # 211 Balloons at Diana's web store Magnolia-licious here there is also a link on my side bar.
Design Paper is by piggytales from the mary mary quite contrary collection
Paper flowers are from my stash not sure from what company.

I cut the balloons off that Tilda was holding and gave her this little rose. I air brushed some purple onto the rose and then added Stickles to all the flowers for some sparkle.
Blaize worked on the inside of the card. She picked a retired Stampin Up set that had a frog and these flowers. Blaize colored them and I cut them out for her. Oh I forgot to tell you that Amy loves frogs why I have no idea! LOL.
Thanks again for stopping by. Now I have to get busy and get my pretty in pink card made.
See you all soon.
